A Ceasar Stoffi & Fritz Nagel for BMF 'Orion' Modular Candelabrum
A large, multi-branched candelabrum, identified as a configuration of the ‘Orion’ modular candle holders designed by Ceasar Stoffi & Fritz Nagel for BMF. Constructed from silver-toned metal, the piece displays a geometric and angular Modernist aesthetic. It features a central stem with six primary arms radiating outwards, each terminating in a candle cup. Connecting these arms are additional bars, each supporting another candle cup at its midpoint, plus a central cup where the main arms converge, totaling thirteen candle cups in a symmetrical, snowflake-like arrangement. A small orange sticker marked “23” is present on one cup. No manufacturer’s marks are visible.
