An Antique Victorian Mahogany Banjo Barometer by James H Kelly. This item is a stick barometer and thermometer combination, presented within an elaborately carved mahogany case in a traditional style. The upper section houses a mercury thermometer, marked “FAHRENHEIT” and “CENTIGRADE” with scales ranging from 20 to 120 Fahrenheit and 0 to 50 Centigrade, featuring indicators for “BLOOD HEAT” and “FREEZING.” Below, a circular aneroid barometer features a brass bezel and a white dial marked with pressure readings from 28 to 31, and weather indications “RAIN,” “CHANGEABLE,” and “FAIR,” topped by a small crown motif. A small white inventory sticker with “7” is present on the thermometer glass, and a price/lot sticker “213” is attached to the wood case near the barometer.
