DECEMBER SALE
Lot 20:
A reproduction 18th century style bracket clock, housed in a rectangular wooden case with a stepped base and top, surmounted by a brass-toned arched carrying handle. The light-toned wood displays a warm, rich grain. The clock face is set within a brass-toned bezel, featuring a circular outer ring with black Roman numerals I through XII for the hours and smaller Arabic numerals at the five-minute intervals, interspersed with decorative fleur-de-lis motifs at the quarter-hour positions. The central dial area has a textured, slightly darker brass finish with two black, slender hands. No manufacturer’s mark is visible on the dial. A small white label with the number “18” repeated is affixed to the front top edge of the wooden case.
