A Group of Four Porcelain Tea Wares, including a Formalities by Baum Bros Teapot
This lot comprises four porcelain tea-related items: three teapots and one tea cup or creamer. One teapot, identified as Formalities by Baum Bros, features a Chinoiserie-inspired design with orange, yellow, and green foliage on a white ground, distinguished by elaborate gilded handles and finials. The accompanying cup shares this Chinoiserie-inspired design. A second teapot displays a more traditional European style with scattered pink rose clusters and blue flowers, highlighted with gilt scrolls. The third teapot is distinctively square-bodied, covered in a vibrant, all-over chintz-style multi-floral pattern on a yellow ground. All items bear an orange sticker marked “183,” and two teapots also have white stickers reading “12 12.”
