Lot 182:
A collection of three Royal Doulton ceramic vases, comprising diverse forms and decorations. The leftmost is an ornate, urn-shaped porcelain vase featuring polychrome relief enamel decoration in pastel hues, including prominent floral cartouches depicting a bouquet, and having a scalloped rim with two handles. The central item is a tall, cylindrical stoneware vase, identified as a “Cobalt Blue Hop Swag Vase,” in a dark blue/grey glaze, embellished with relief swags and bows suggestive of grapes or berries, and possessing a contrasting reddish-brown interior. The third item, on the right, is a dark-glazed figural vase with an organic form, exhibiting a mottled blue, brown, and black iridescent finish, and an irregularly flared opening. All three items bear orange price tags marked “182” near their openings.
