DECEMBER SALE
Lot 179:
A stack of three glazed ceramic decorative tiles, executed in a relief folk art style. The top tile depicts a solitary figure in a green garment harvesting red berries from a tree, accompanied by a white bird. The middle tile features two similar figures in green, seemingly collecting items from the ground amidst berry bushes, with another white bird. The partially visible bottom tile displays stylized animal figures resembling deer or moose, outlined in brown with pink, green, and blue fills. The ceramic is brightly glazed in various colors including green, white, brown, red, and blue. Visible markings include orange price/inventory stickers with “179” and white inventory stickers with “1”. A partial word “me” is visible in brown glaze on the bottom tile, and a stylized “U” and a shepherd’s crook, along with faint, illegible script, are present on the backing material.
