DECEMBER SALE
Lot 130:
This collection features two handblown Caithness Glass ‘Moonflower’ paperweights. One exhibits internal pink-red swirling patterns against a dark ground, accented by trapped air bubbles. The other features abstract pink and white forms, including a distinct white flower with a dark center, within a dark, speckled background, also containing a central air bubble. Accompanying these is a modern art glass perfume bottle or decanter, bulbous in shape with a spherical stopper, showcasing internal multicolored speckled and mottled patterns; a white rectangular sticker bearing the number “7” is affixed to its side. The collection is completed by a ceramic or porcelain egg-shaped ornament, possibly a trinket box, displaying a traditional design of stylized flora and an avian-like creature in blue, red, green, and black on a white ground, resting on a black stand.
