A Pair of South African Raku Ceramic Meerkat Figures
A pair of South African Raku ceramic meerkat figures. Each figure is sculpted in a naturalistic, upright pose, finished with a glossy, off-white crackle glaze. Painted details in reddish-brown and grey accents are present on the faces, ears, and paws. The extensive craquelure effect across the surface is an intentional decorative element. A small white rectangular sticker with the black numeral ‘7’ is affixed to the lower front torso of one figure.
