DECEMBER SALE
Lot 107:
A collection of eleven individual antique or vintage brass implements, primarily identified as English fireplace and toasting tools from the late 19th to early 20th century. Each piece is crafted from solid brass or bronze and features a distinct ornate finial atop a twisted or plain shaft. Notable finials include a ship inscribed “MAYFLOWER,” an architectural representation resembling the Eiffel Tower (with faint text potentially reading “PARIS” or “FRANCE” below), a Scottish thistle motif, a robed figure, and various stylized torches or decorative elements. The implements terminate in either bifurcated tines, trifurcated tines, or a single pointed end; one implement also presents as a hinged tong-like device. Visible retail tags on two items indicate numbers “10 10 / 025” and “29 29”.
