A Pair of Anna Elinson Dry Point Etchings
A pair of dry point etchings by Anna Elinson, executed in a detailed illustrative style utilizing heavy linework and stippling, depicting historic timber-framed architecture. The first print features a street scene identified by text as ‘The Guildhall, Thaxted,’ with a prominent multi-story building and a distant church spire. The second print depicts a large, gabled manor house or estate. Both prints are pencil signed ‘Anna Elinson’ in the lower right and are presented in matching dark wooden frames with light matting under glass. Both frames bear the number ’77’ in the bottom left.
