OCTOBER SALE
Lot 322:
A group of three metal drinking vessels. The leftmost is a cylindrical tankard with a relatively smooth, lightly patinated surface, likely pewter. The central vessel is a visibly aged tankard, also likely pewter, featuring an embossed alphabet (A-Z) around its body and a unique figural bird forming part of its handle. The third item, on the right, is a footed mug or beaker with a more polished and somewhat brighter appearance, consistent with silver plate. All three items have white adhesive labels marked “1 1,” while the left and central pieces also bear orange adhesive labels with “322.”
