An ornate silver-plated teapot or coffee pot, exhibiting a late 19th-century or early 20th-century Victorian aesthetic. The spherical body is extensively decorated with chased or repoussé floral and foliate motifs, including an unengraved cartouche on the front. It features an elaborate scroll handle, a stylized spout resembling a bird’s head, and a domed lid topped with a light-colored finial, possibly bone or ivory, above a small metal sphere.
