Lot 279:
A pair of modern glass wine bottles. The left bottle is crafted from dark green glass and contains a “WHITE Burgundy Chardonnay” with “Appellation Bourgogne Blanc Contrôlée.” It is marked “Produce of France,” “Bottled by Cave de Viré, 71260 Viré,” and has an alcohol content of “13% vol,” also noting “SELECTED BY TESCO.” The foil closure partially displays “TEILLE A LA PRO,” indicative of “Bouteille à la propriété.” The right bottle is made of dark brown glass and is a “LOUIS ALEXANDRE CUVEE BLANC,” described as a “VIN DE TABLE DEMI-SEC FRANÇAIS.” It is marked “MIS EN BOUTEILLE POUR LOUIS ALEXANDRE” and “PRODUCE OF FRANCE,” with postal codes “F71570-084 A 69840.” Its foil closure partially shows “S ALEXANDRE.” Both bottles bear an orange price sticker marked “279.”
