A Pair of German Rheinhessen Wines: 1996 KüHling-Gillot Kerner Kabinett and 1999 Blue Nun Qualitätswein
A pair of German Rheinhessen wines, including a 1999 Blue Nun Qualitätswein and a 1996 KüHling-Gillot Kerner Kabinett. The 1999 Blue Nun Qualitätswein, produced by H. Sichel Söhne GmbH Mainz, features a dark blue screw cap and a pictorial label of a nun in a blue habit amidst a field, stating “SICHEL’S Superior Vinification,” and contains 750ml at 9.0% alcohol by volume. The 1996 KüHling-Gillot Kerner Kabinett is labeled as “Qualitätswein mit Prädikat,” contains 750ml at 8.5% alcohol by volume, and is sealed with a white foil capsule. Both bottles appear full and sealed.
