A pair of dark glass wine bottles. The first is a 2001 KWV Pinotage from South Africa, featuring a maroon capsule and a white label with “KWV SINCE 1918” printed in gold, along with an illustration of a building at the base of the label. The second bottle is a “House of Commons” French Red Table Wine, identified as “SPECIALLY SELECTED BY THE HOUSE OF COMMONS” and supplied by Berry Bros. & Rudd Ltd. (established in the XVII Century at 3 St. James’s Street, London). This wine was produced and bottled in France by Thorin SA, 71570 Pontanevaux, and has “12.5% Vol.” visible on its off-white label with gold text, which also features a prominent portcullis crest topped with crowns. Both bottles have dark maroon capsules and are affixed with identical orange “274” price stickers.
