A Collection of Johnson Brothers Indies Ironstone Tableware
A collection of Johnson Brothers Indies Ironstone tableware, predominantly in blue and white glazed ceramic. The group includes a gravy boat and its associated saucer, featuring a detailed blue transferware pattern depicting Chinoiserie landscape scenes. Also present are a stack of plates and cups with similar blue and white transferware patterns, one cup having a visible gold rim and dusty interior. The largest bottom plate exhibits a distinct scalloped edge and a blue botanical or floral scroll design. A lidded ceramic pot or bowl, characterized by a simpler blue striped pattern, is also included in the collection.
