A Collection of Football Memorabilia and Archival Material, including Matchday Programs and Vintage Cigarette Cards
This lot comprises a collection of football memorabilia and related archival materials, primarily housed within ring-bound folders and a clear plastic storage box. The collection includes a Northern League Premier program from the 1993-94 season, featuring Bishop Auckland F.C. and Barrow, alongside a “YORK STREET REPORT” official matchday magazine for Boston United versus Barrow, dated Saturday, October 6th, 1984, originally priced at 35p and displaying “THE GOLA LEAGUE” branding. Also present are several small, vintage-style football cigarette cards, some marked “WILLS’S CIGARETTES,” depicting individual male players. The archive is organized within three stacked lever arch files or ringbinders, one of which is identified as an “ASDA Smart Price Ringbinder file” and another with a partially handwritten spine label including “NL” (likely “Northern League”). Additional administrative papers, such as a “USED VENDOR NUMBERS – October” list, are also visible. The paper ephemera is largely preserved within transparent plastic sleeves.
