A Collection of Rugby League Memorabilia and Publications, including Barrow Raiders Programmes and Books
This lot comprises a collection of Rugby League memorabilia and publications, presented within a clear plastic storage bin. The collection includes three lever arch files, one explicitly labeled “Barrow Raiders” and another with “Rugby” handwritten. Among the various books are “Keeping the Dream Alive: Barrow Rugby Football Club – Complete Who’s Who (1897/98 to 2008)” and “The St Helens Saints Miscellany” by Darren Phillips. A substantial portion of the lot consists of “Barrow Raiders Official Matchday Programmes,” with “Issue #14” visible, and one programme dating to “Sunday 1 September” with a handwritten “2013.” This stack of programmes is held together by elastic bands. Also present is an older “Wembley Souvenir” from the “North-Western Evening Mail,” which references “WINTER of BARROW” and “WEMBLEY to WIN.” The items are primarily composed of paper and cardboard.
