A Collection of Six Decorative Vessels, Including an American Brilliant Era Cut Glass Vase, a Polychrome Enameled Asian Vase, and Various Glassware
The collection features a tall, intricate cut-glass crystal vase, consistent with the American Brilliant Era, exhibiting a sawtooth rim and complex geometric and floral patterns. Also included are several simpler clear glass vases, one with a fluted form and another with a modern rectangular design. A clear glass tumbler or bowl is etched with marine life, depicting fish and seaweed. Another clear glass bowl is distinguished by a broad red band, gilt lines, and etched foliate patterns. The ceramic pieces comprise a prominent polychrome enameled vase of apparent Asian origin, richly decorated with figural scenes, landscapes, and raised gilt beadwork. A partially visible blue and white ceramic planter features traditional patterns and a bird-form handle. Multiple items bear orange rectangular stickers marked ‘178,’ and one glass bowl has a small white sticker displaying ‘6.’
