A Collection of Carved Hardstone Figures
This lot comprises two groups of carved stone figures. The top tray holds four larger figures, primarily in dark and light green-grey hues, likely hardstone such as jade, depicting stylized humanoid forms, some with traditional East Asian characteristics like flowing robes and facial features. One darker piece exhibits incised spiral decorations. The bottom tray contains eight smaller, more abstract humanoid or animalistic figures, crafted from various colored stones including yellow, light brown, grey, dark brown, blue, and reddish-brown, also likely hardstones, with several pieces featuring small drilled perforations.
