A large vintage Mid-Century Modern West German pottery floor vase, dating from the 1960s. This yellowish-brown decorative vase features a flared, undulating rim and a bulbous body. Its surface is extensively adorned with relief carvings, including a band depicting stylized elephants around the lower half, complemented by multiple bands of intricate geometric and stylized floral/leaf patterns accented with muted green, red, and brown tones. The material is a heavy ceramic or earthenware, possibly with a faux-bronze finish. No manufacturer’s marks or identifying text are visible. The vase is currently holding two umbrellas.
