The title page describes its content as “A Consecutive Arrangement of The Narrative and other Portions of Holy Scripture, in the words of The Authorised Version,” and states it includes “Upwards of Two Hundred Original Illustrations.” The typography, featuring a mix of gothic and serif fonts, is characteristic of the Victorian period.
