A Vintage Baron Turtle Belt Buckle and a Collection of Decorative Objects
A Vintage Baron Turtle Belt Buckle, circa 1970s, solid brass, often associated with ‘hippie boho’ or ‘nautical’ styles, made in Taiwan. This hinged turtle-form object, identified as a belt buckle, also functions as a lidded box. The collection further comprises several cream-colored figurines, including busts and an angel, molded from resin or a similar composite material; a group of brass or bronze objects including a small teapot, a dog figurine, a seated Buddha figure, an ornate shoe-shaped dish with etched detailing, a heart-cutout bell, an animal-head decorative dish with a dark insert, and an anchor-topped ornament. Also present is an octagonal tin, marked ‘Select Tea’ (English) with blue and gold geometric patterns; a partially visible blue-garbed figurine, likely ceramic; and a white bowl holding a pink crystalline object. All items are marked with orange inventory stickers, and some metallic pieces also bear small white ’14’ labels, indicating a group lot.
