Lot 475: A contemporary painted two drawer chest of drawers
This contemporary chest of drawers is constructed from wood and finished in an off-white or cream paint. The unit features two upper drawers, each decorated with moulded edges to the fronts and fitted with a black-finished metal ring pull mounted on a decorative circular backplate. The lower section of the chest is currently open, revealing a central vertical partition. The piece is constructed with traditional styling in mind. Two small adhesive labels are present on the top edge: a white label printed with 20 20 and a small orange inventory tag.
Condition report:
The chest is in an incomplete state and is missing the original lower drawers or shelving units. The painted surface shows evidence of minor scuffing, surface marks, and wear consistent with use and storage. The piece is suitable as a restoration or upcycling project.
