Lot 257a: A Collection of Vintage Vinyl Records including The Neil Sedaka Collection and Columbia EPs
This lot comprises a collection of vintage vinyl records of various formats, including 12-inch long-play (LP) albums and 7-inch 45 RPM singles and extended play (EP) records. The primary identifiable item is a 1974 compilation titled The Neil Sedaka Collection, released on the RCA Camden label with the catalogue number PDA 008. This is a two-record set presented in a stereo format. The front cover lists featured tracks such as Stairway to Heaven, Little Devil, Bad Girl, and One Way Ticket. Also included in the assortment are various 45 RPM records, one of which is housed in a Columbia Extended Play sleeve. This sleeve identifies the manufacturer as the Columbia Graphophone Company Ltd, based in Hayes, Middlesex, England, and bears the title The Show Must Go On. The records are contained within a red plastic storage crate.
Condition report:
The collection is in vintage, used condition. The outer sleeves show visible signs of shelf wear, including edge scuffing, corner bumping, and surface rubbing. The vinyl discs have not been removed from their respective sleeves for individual inspection and have not been tested for playability, surface noise, or scratches.
