Lot 183: Daisy Powerline 880 Multi-Pump Pneumatic Air Rifle .177 Calibre with 21 Inch Barrel
A Daisy Powerline 880 multi-pump pneumatic air rifle chambered for .177 calibre projectiles. This model features a rifled steel barrel measuring approximately 21 inches, encased in a blued metal shroud for durability. The receiver is finished in black and incorporates a bolt-action loading system with a manual cross-bolt safety. The furniture is composed of a brown synthetic stock and forend with a moulded faux-wood grain texture, featuring a Monte Carlo style buttstock with a raised cheekpiece, a white spacer, and a black buttplate. The rifle is equipped with a fixed front blade sight and a ramp-adjustable rear leaf sight. Visible markings on the receiver include the manufacturer and model designations, though these are partially obscured on the left side by a white lot sticker numbered 5 5. An additional orange auction sticker numbered 183 is affixed to the side of the buttstock.
Condition report:
The air rifle is in fair overall condition. The blued finish on the barrel shroud and receiver shows signs of surface oxidation, light pitting, and general wear from handling. The synthetic stock and forend remain structurally sound but exhibit numerous scuffs, scratches, and abrasions across the surfaces. The pump action provides resistance when cycled, suggesting the internal compression seals are functioning, although the rifle has not been fully function-tested for projectile velocity or long-term air retention. The bore appears relatively clean with visible rifling present.
