Lot 126a: A Decorative Two-Branch Metal Pendant Ceiling Light with Antiqued Bronze-Effect Finish
This two-branch pendant ceiling light is constructed from cast metal with a patinated antiqued bronze-effect finish. The design comprises a central downrod connecting a ceiling canopy to a decorative hub. Two scrolling arms, ornamented with foliate and acanthus-style motifs, extend from the central boss and terminate in downward-facing bulb sockets. An orange lot sticker marked 126A is present on the central hub. The fixture includes internal wiring and two light sockets. No maker’s marks are visible. As with all vintage electrical items, this piece is untested and will require professional inspection and potential rewiring to meet current safety standards before installation and use.
Condition report:
The item shows signs of age and use, including surface tarnishing and dust throughout. One of the scrolling arms is slightly out of alignment. There is a small piece of black adhesive tape near the top of the downrod. The glass shades are missing. Electrical components are untested.
