A pair of substantial cast brass door pull handles with integrated backplates. Each backplate features a decorative pierced trellis or lattice pattern to the centre, flanked by ornate scrolling acanthus leaves and a scalloped shell motif at either end. The handles are cast with foliate details at the attachment points and feature a smooth, oval-shaped central grip. This style of architectural hardware is consistent with the Rococo Revival period of the late 19th to early 20th century. No manufacturer marks or signatures are visible on the front surfaces of the items.
Condition report:
The handles appear to be in good condition with a bright, polished finish. There is minor surface wear and some light oxidation in the deeper recesses of the cast decoration, consistent with age. The pair is matching and complete.
