Lot 392: An Assortment of Miscellaneous 20th-Century Hardcover Books and Reference Volumes
An assortment of multiple hardcover books of various formats and subjects. The collection includes a thick volume bound in black textured cloth, possibly a reference work or ledger, alongside several volumes in brown, maroon, and tan cloth or faux-leather bindings. One brown-bound volume features decorative speckled edges to the top of the text block. A small adhesive sticker is present on the front cover of the central brown volume. The items are housed in a vintage corrugated cardboard box with green printed text reading ENGLISH APPLES. The volumes appear to be mid-20th century in origin based on binding materials and styles. No authors or titles are visible from the present orientation.
Condition report:
The collection is in used condition with visible surface dust, shelf wear, and minor bumping to the corners and spine ends. Some bindings show light marking and surface abrasions. The cardboard container is heavily worn with significant tearing and a handwritten orange lot tag numbered 392 attached to the upper edge.
