Lot 217: A Collection of Mixed Media and Ephemera including DVD Box Sets, Cassette Tapes, and Compact Discs
An assortment of recorded media and paper ephemera housed within two cardboard boxes and a blue carrying case. The lot features a Biography Notorious Killers 8-DVD box set in a red and black illustrated slipcase. Cassette recordings comprise various titles including a four-volume set of The Spirit of England, Vita Sackville-West’s In Your Garden read by Janet McTeer, and musical compilations such as Charlie Kunz 1934-1947, Flappers, Vamps and Young Things, and Dance Crazy. Also included are The People’s Friend Christmas Selection booklets, a Tips on Tape Weight Watchers publication, and a Classics for Candlelight set. A stack of compact discs in jewel cases includes titles such as From America and Broadway Live. The collection is accompanied by several large manilla envelopes containing paper documents, a few natural seashells, and a blue textured faux-leather storage case with metal latches and a handle.
Condition report:
The items are in a used condition consistent with age and previous handling. Cardboard slipcases, plastic jewel cases, and cassette housings show typical shelf wear, including scuffing, minor creasing to corners, and surface dust. The manilla envelopes are creased and show wear to the edges. The blue storage case exhibits some external scuffing. All media items are sold untested for playability.
