Lot 909: A Collection of Assorted Sterling Silver and White Metal Flatware and Servers
An assortment of flatware and serving pieces. The collection includes a pair of sugar tongs featuring shell-moulded bowls and a handle stamped STERLING to the reverse; a butter knife with a shaped blade and foliate-cast handle; and two spoons of varying sizes. The group also features two items in the mid-20th-century Thai Siam silver style with handles cast as traditional Thepphanom figures, comprising a shell-form preserve spoon with a twisted stem and a small server or letter opener with a pointed blade.
