Lot 908: A Trio of White Metal Condiment Vessels in a Carved Natural Horn Boat-Shaped Stand
This trio of condiment vessels is presented in a carved natural horn stand shaped like a boat. The set includes a pepperette shaker, a lidded mustard pot with a matching spoon, and an open salt cellar containing a removable clear glass liner. Each white metal vessel features embossed and chased foliate decoration in a repeating pattern. The stand is carved from a single piece of natural horn with tapered upright ends. Small hallmarks or maker’s marks are visible on the metal components but are not clearly legible for definitive identification. The glass liner bears an embossed mark of three vertical bars III to the underside.
