Lot 846: An Assortment of Pocket Watches, Jewellery, and Accessories including von Rothenburg and Spirit of St. Louis Examples
This lot comprises a variety of pocket watches and jewellery items. Included is a gold-toned hunter-style pocket watch by von Rothenburg featuring a white dial with Roman numeral hour markers and ornate hands, housed in an embossed case with decorative motifs. There is also a silver-toned open-face pocket watch marked Spirit of St. Louis on the black dial, which features white Arabic numerals. Two additional pocket watches are included: one with a high-relief embossed cover depicting a figural scene and another with a decorative scenic design under a domed crystal. Jewellery items include an Espree Celtic-style cross pendant set with red stones in its original branded box, and an oval cameo pendant depicting a classical female profile in a gold-toned mount, housed in a presentation case. The collection is completed by a large orange plastic waterproof safety whistle, a heavy link necklace with skull-shaped beads, and various other silver-toned chains and brass-toned components.
