The drawer front is flush and fitted with two brass swing handles on butterfly-style plates and a central matching escutcheon. Below the drawer is a deeply scalloped and shaped apron. The base is constructed with four baluster-turned legs joined by a shaped X-stretcher featuring a central turned finial, all terminating in turned feet. Pegged construction is visible at the stiles. The oak shows a medium-brown finish with a visible grain.
