Lot 657: A Large Garden Planter containing Assorted Plants and a Cast Composite Figural Ornament
A large circular garden planter constructed from dark green plastic or composite material. The planter contains a variety of well-established live plants, including Houttuynia cordata (heartleaf houttuynia), ferns, and small blue flowering plants. Centred within the foliage is a weathered decorative garden ornament cast in a dark grey composite material or stone, depicting a textured figure or creature. The assembly shows extensive evidence of outdoor use and natural weathering. The ornament retains a small orange adhesive label. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible on any component.
Condition report:
The item shows signs of significant outdoor exposure and weathering throughout. The planter has surface scuffs and general wear consistent with use. The cast ornament is weathered with surface deposits and a small adhesive label remains attached. Plants are overgrown and established within the container.
