Lot 422: An Assortment of Vintage Cast Metal Kitchen Scales and Advertising Tins
An assortment comprising a set of vintage kitchen balance scales and several advertising items. The scales are constructed from off-white painted cast metal and feature two circular metal pans. Included within the lot are various vintage tins, including a yellow tin marked with barcode 667803000709 and a best before date of July 1999, as well as a Twinings Earl Grey tea tin. The lot also contains a small vintage-style Coca-Cola promotional item and miscellaneous glass and plastic components.
Condition report:
The scales show significant age-related wear, including substantial paint loss, chipping to the cream-coloured finish, and surface oxidation across the base and pans. The advertising tins exhibit surface scratches, minor dents, and general surface dirt. All items are in used, as-found condition.
