A pair of ornate decorative perfume bottles featuring gilt-tone metal filigree and clear glass. The first bottle consists of an oval glass body encased in an intricate metal filigree cage, topped with a large, stylized rose finial that serves as a stopper, and supported by a flared foliate cast-metal base. The second bottle features a spherical glass body within a similar filigree cage, resting on three scrolled metal feet and finished with a pierced foliate metal finial. These items exhibit the heavy ornamentation characteristic of mid-20th-century vanity accessories, often attributed to makers such as Stylebuilt. Both pieces are adorned with orange auction lot stickers numbered 229, and one piece carries a small white sticker marked with the numeral 2.
Condition report:
Both items appear to be in good overall condition. There is minor surface wear and light tarnishing consistent with age to the gilt-tone finish. No chips, cracks, or significant damage to the glass bodies or metal components are visible. The stoppers and finials appear secure and complete.
