Lot 169: A Collection of Vintage Parker Writing Instruments and Presentation Cases
An assortment of vintage Parker writing instruments, including ballpoint pens and mechanical pencils, presented in various cases and on original cards. The collection features several Parker Jotter models in brushed stainless steel with chrome arrow clips. One Jotter set comprises a stainless steel pen and a burgundy plastic pen with gold-toned trim, accompanied by a Parker and Sanford Brands service leaflet from the Newhaven, East Sussex facility. Also included is a Parker 45 ballpoint pen with a stainless steel cap and black plastic barrel, housed in a textured presentation case with a cream lining. A further slim gold-toned pen is present on its original blue and black backing card. One stainless steel pen is housed in a wood-effect presentation case marked Paper Mate to the interior silk lining.
Condition report:
Overall good vintage condition. Writing instruments show light surface micro-scratching and minor signs of handling. No significant dents, deep scratches, or brassing to the metal components are visible. Cases show varying degrees of shelf wear, edge rubbing, and age-related discolouration to the linings. Functionality and ink flow have not been tested; items may require replacement refills.
