A collection of English Staffordshire blue and white transfer-printed earthenware ceramics. The lot includes a large jug decorated with a botanical fruit pattern featuring apples or pears on leafy branches, finished with stylised floral and scrollwork borders. The jug is fitted with a double-scrolled handle and a secondary pouring lug at the base. Also included are items in the traditional Blue Willow pattern, consisting of a circular plate, a small bowl, and an egg cup, all featuring underglaze transfer-prints of pagodas, bridges, and willow trees. No manufacturer marks are visible. Items include adhesive inventory labels.
Condition report:
The large jug displays a significant horizontal crack running through the main body and widespread crazing to the glaze. The Willow pattern items appear to be in generally good condition with minor surface wear and light crazing.
