Live auction will start in __ days and __ hours

Start price: £2

Buyer's Premium:

A Victorian-period decorative bowl or small vase crafted from opaque white milk glass. The vessel features a bulbous body terminating in a wide, deeply crimped and ruffled rim. The piece is supported by three applied clear glass feet, each exhibiting a shell-moulded or ribbed pattern. The exterior is decorated with a hand-painted enamel floral spray, featuring a central five-petalled orange flower alongside smaller blue and orange blossoms and blue-green foliage. The design is further embellished with raised dark enamel dots, providing a textured beaded effect to the floral centres and stems. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible. A small orange adhesive sticker with the handwritten number 68 is present on the body. This style of glass is characteristic of late 19th-century British glasshouses, such as Thomas Webb and Sons or Stevens and Williams.

Condition report:

The item appears to be in good overall condition. The enameled decoration is well-preserved and remains vibrant. The crimped rim and applied glass feet appear intact without visible chips, cracks, or significant wear.
