Lot 613: A Collection of Faux Pearl and Glass Seed Bead Costume Necklaces
This lot comprises an assortment of costume jewellery necklaces, predominantly featuring imitation pearls and glass seed beads. The collection includes various styles, such as single-strand, multi-strand, and rope-length pieces. The materials include faux pearls in a diverse palette of cream, white, champagne, blush pink, lavender, deep violet, charcoal grey, and black. Several necklaces consist of multiple strands of small purple glass seed beads. Visible findings include gold-tone barrel clasps on the multi-strand purple seed bead pieces, while decorative silver-tone metal beads are interspersed among some of the white pearl strands. The collection is housed in a purple-covered storage box with a vibrant pink velvet-effect lining and a purple faceted glass-style knob. No maker’s marks, hallmarks, or signatures are visible on the jewellery or findings.
