Lot 521: A Trio of Brass-Effect Hurricane Style Electric Table Lamps
A trio of electric table lamps designed in the traditional hurricane or oil lamp style. Each lamp features a polished brass-effect metal body with a stepped circular base and a central column. The lot includes two lamps with plain white milk glass shades featuring crimped rims, accompanied by internal clear glass chimneys. The third lamp is fitted with a white glass shade decorated with a blue and yellow floral transfer-print design and a crimped rim. Each lamp is wired with a twin-core flex, an inline on/off rocker switch, and a standard UK 3-pin plug. No manufacturer marks or backstamps are visible on the exterior of the lamps.
Condition report:
The lamps are in good overall condition with typical minor surface wear, tarnish, and light oxidation to the brass-effect finish consistent with age and domestic use. The glass shades and chimneys appear intact without significant chips or cracks visible in the images. This item is being sold as a decorative object.
