Lot 485: Roberts Revival Floral Pattern Portable Radio
A Roberts Revival portable digital radio featuring a fabric-covered cabinet decorated with a multi-coloured floral pattern of roses and smaller blossoms on a cream background. The unit is fitted with a matching stitched carry handle and a gold-toned metal speaker grille. A gold-toned script badge reading Roberts is located on the front. The top control panel includes an LCD digital display, two cream-coloured control knobs, and several push-buttons for operation. This specific fabric design is associated with the Roberts collaboration with designer Cath Kidston.
Condition report:
The radio is in used condition with visible surface wear and soiling to the fabric, particularly on the carry handle and the top edges. The control panel and knobs show an accumulation of dust. Functional status has not been tested.
