A set of black lawn bowls housed in a bespoke brown leather carrying case. The bowls are of traditional design with concentric grooves and circular central inserts, including one visible yellow insert. The carrying case is of rectangular-cylindrical form, featuring a front-opening flap secured by a silver-tone metal turn-lock fastener. The interior contains leather-covered dividers to separate the bowls. The construction features reinforced stitched edges and a leather handle at the top.
Condition report:
The leather case shows significant signs of age and usage, including surface scuffing, edge wear, and white surface bloom/residue on the interior flap. The bowls show general surface wear consistent with play. The metal hardware exhibits light oxidation and tarnishing.
