This vintage tabletop ironing board component, designed for use with a steam press machine, features a wooden board base fitted with a plaid fabric cover in shades of green, yellow, and blue. The board is mounted to a white-painted metal folding frame. Attached to one side is a mechanical component comprising a brown cylindrical pivot arm and a white plastic housing fitted with two adjustment knobs. The design and construction are characteristic of accessories for domestic pressing machines such as those by Singer or Elna. The underside of the frame bears two small adhesive labels: a white label marked 13 and an orange label with handwritten characters 26.
Condition report:
The item shows signs of age and regular use. The fabric cover displays wear, soiling, and bunching around the padded edges. There are minor scuffs and marks to the white-painted metal frame and plastic components consistent with age. Adhesive residue is present from the application of temporary labels.
