A collection of long-play vinyl records primarily dating from the 1970s and 1980s. The grouping includes multi-LP sets from the Motown Anthology series, including Diana Ross and The Supremes and Marvin Gaye, identifiable by their characteristic yellow spines with red text and the Motown Records logo. The collection also features the original motion picture soundtrack for The Jazz Singer by Neil Diamond, released by Capitol Records in 1980, which displays a black cover with a central gold geometric diamond design and radiating purple and yellow rays. Additional items include records from MCA Records with rainbow-coloured spine borders and a volume marked Super-Stereo on a light blue spine. The lot is housed in a repurposed Green Chef cardboard box bearing orange lot stickers numbered 100 and 102.
Condition report:
The record sleeves exhibit signs of shelf wear, including blunted corners, spine rubbing, and surface creases. Some of the older, light-coloured spines show evidence of minor foxing and surface discolouration. The vinyl discs themselves have not been removed for inspection and have not been play-tested.
