Lot 98: An Assortment of Glassware Including Pressed Glass Bowls and a Promotional Coca-Cola Glass
An assortment of glass items comprising graduated clear glass nesting bowls and a promotional drinking glass. The bowls include examples with a repeating pressed diamond pattern to the exterior surfaces alongside a larger plain-sided bowl. The promotional glass was produced for McDonald’s in a pale green-tinted glass, modelled on an 1899 Coca-Cola bottle design. The glass is embossed with Coca-Cola and 1899 and is contained within its original partial cardboard sleeve which bears the McDonald’s logo and is marked 125 years and Limited Edition Glass. No specific manufacturer marks are visible on the clear glass bowls.
Condition report:
The items are in overall good used condition. The cardboard sleeve for the promotional glass exhibits shelf wear and light creasing. The glass bowls appear clear without significant clouding or large chips, although some adhesive residue is present from inventory labels.
