Lot 67: A Collection of Assorted Porcelain and Stoneware Ceramics including Teaware and Storage Jars
An assortment of porcelain, bone china, and stoneware items. The group includes a teacup and saucer decorated with a transfer-printed landscape scene featuring trees and foliage, finished with gilded rims. Also present are white porcelain cups and saucers with varied floral designs, including one featuring a large pink rose. The collection contains several mugs, including a contemporary blue example with white vertical stripes and others with floral motifs. Included are two small, simple cylindrical stoneware jars finished in a dark brown glaze. No manufacturer backstamps or maker’s marks are visible on the bases. Some items retain orange price stickers and one cup has a white label printed with the digits 12 12.
Condition report:
The items appear to be in good used condition with some age-related wear. Rubbing is evident on the gilded rims, particularly on the landscape-decorated cup. Minor surface marks, firing imperfections, and small nicks are visible. Potential buyers should inspect for fine crazing or hairline cracks.
