Lot 21: A Pair of Lledo Days Gone Limited Edition Die-Cast Model Vehicle Sets
This lot consists of two themed die-cast model vehicle sets from the Lledo Days Gone series, manufactured by Lledo PLC in England. One set is from the Showmans Collection, featuring box artwork of a traditional fairground scene with a Helter Skelter and showman’s transport. The second set is from The Circus Collection, with box art depicting Billy Smart’s Circus, including an elephant, performing horses, and a circus transport vehicle. Both sets are designated as limited editions on the packaging. Each set is constructed from die-cast metal with plastic components. The boxes state the models are produced to a scale suitable for ’00’ scale model railway layouts. The packaging features the Lledo PLC and Days Gone branding, along with the specific collection logos and descriptions of recapturing the bygone days of road transport.
Condition report:
Both original cardboard boxes show signs of shelf wear, including minor scuffing and softening at the corners and edges. The Circus Collection box exhibits some light creasing and has a small white circular sticker with the printed number 16 on the lower-left front corner. The internal contents are enclosed and have not been removed for individual inspection.
