Lot 10: A Collection of Cased Silver Plated Flatware Including a Yeoman Plate Cake Service
This lot comprises two cased sets of silver-plated flatware. The first is a cake service by the British manufacturer Yeoman Plate, as identified by the silk ribbon label within the presentation case. The set includes a cake server and several pastry forks, all featuring decorative handles with a foliate pattern. The items are housed in a fitted case with a peach satin and maroon velvet interior.
The second set consists of several silver-plated pastry forks of a simple, unadorned design. These are presented in a red, satin-lined box. Both sets are constructed from silver plate. No monograms are present on any of the pieces.
Condition report:
Both sets are in good used condition. The flatware shows light surface scratching and minor areas of tarnishing consistent with age and use. The presentation cases exhibit some light exterior wear and minor staining to the interior linings.
